Türebenin içinde yer alan sanduka kitabesinden anlaşıldığına göre yapı, Yaş Bey diye anılan Hoca Ebubekir oğlu, Oğul Beyoğlu, Koçkad oğlu, İlbasmış’ın oğlu Emir Tayboğa için; oğlu Emir Beklemiş tarafından H 679 (M 1280) yılında yaptırılmıştır.
