Hızanoğlu Camisi'nin üç kitabesi vardır. Caminin dış kapı üzerindeki kitabesinde caminin Hacı Halil adında biri tarafından 1729 yılında tamir edildiği yazılmıştır. Caminin iç kapı kitabesinde Hacı Halil Ağa'nın bu eski camiyi tamir ettirdiği yazılıdır. Minare kaidesinde yer alan Şair Zahir’in yazdığı kitabede minarenin yerinin çok yüksek olduğu, hoş bir yerde yapıldığı belirtilmektedir. Minare şerefesinin kapı girişi üzerindeki kitabede Muhtar Beğ isminde birinden ve minarenin 1851’de tamir edildiğinden bahsedilmektedir.
