In the inscription above the entrance to the mosque’s minbar, the date hijri 1275 (Gregorian 1858) is read, and it is stated that the minbar made the mosque cramped, therefore a minbar suspended within the wall was made. In the inscription dated hijri 1280 (1863) on the window on the south side of the mosque, it is stated that benefactors opened this window and that with these two opened windows the interior of the mosque became spacious. In the repair inscription on the east wall inside the mosque, the date Hijri 1376 (1956-1957) appears by abjad calculation. In the inscription above the mosque’s eyvan, it is stated that this eyvan was repaired again in Hijri 1291 (Gregorian 1874). In the inscription above the summer mihrab to the east of the eyvan, it is written that Ferdizâde Ahmed Efendi had this mihrab made in Hijri 1250 (Gregorian 1834). On the light windows of the minaret of Attar Pazarı Camii, on all four sides, the kalima al-tawhid “Lâilâhe illallah Muhammedün Resulullah” is written.
