Mescidin inşa kitabesi yoktur. Ancak yapı plan, inşa, teknik, malzeme ve mihrabı bakımından yakınındaki Hanım Cami’ye (1452) benzemektedir. Mescidin Karamanoğulları zamanında XV. yüzyıl ortalarına tarihlenmektedir. Bazı onarımlarla günümüze gelen camii, orijinal özelliğini yitirmiştir. Dıştan 8.70x12.70 metre ölçülerinde olan enine dikdörtgen planlı, düz ahşap tavanlı camiler gurubundadır. Ahşap tavan sonradan yıkılarak yerine düz beton atılmıştır. Yapı da son cemaat yerine ve minareye yer verilmemiştir.
