The masjid has no construction inscription. However, in terms of plan, construction, technique, material and mihrab, the building resembles the nearby Hanım Cami (1452). The masjid is dated to the middle of the XVth century during the time of the Karamanoğulları. The mosque, which has survived to the present day with some repairs, has lost its original character. It belongs to the group of transversely rectangular-plan mosques with a flat wooden ceiling, measuring 8.70x12.70 meters externally. The wooden ceiling was later demolished and replaced with flat concrete. No place was given in the building for a last congregation area or a minaret.
