Sinasos Kilisesi, şehir merkezinin güneydoğusunda, Manastır Vadisi olarak adlandırılan bölgede bulunan; Ayos Nikolos Manastırı’na beş dakika mesafede bulunmaktadır. Fakat Sinasos Manastırı, Aziz Nikolaus’tan farklı olarak kaya oyma kilise sınıfına girmektedir. Bugün büyük oranda yıkık olan yapının tarihlendirilmesi için en önemli belge, manastır içerisinde bulunan kitabedir. Bu bilgilerden anlaşılacağı üzere, kilise tahrip olduğu için 1868 tarihinde başrahip Bartholomeos tarafından tekrar açılmıştır. Ancak günümüze ulaşan fresklerin, yapının hangi dönemine ait olduğu saptanamamıştır.
