This church is the only rock church in Cappadocia known to have been painted until the beginning of the 20th century. The church is entered by descending stairs. The church on the ground floor consists of two sections separated from each other by a row of columns. On the ceiling of the church there is also Christ Pantocrator, and on its other walls there are images of saints and apostles enclosed in medallions. From inside the church, a small underground area is reached by steps
