Gülşehir ilçe merkezi girişindedir. Kilise, 2 katlıdır. Alt katında şarap mahzenleri, su kanalları ve mezarlar bulunmaktadır. Üst katı ise kilise olup duvarları İncil'den alınmış sahnelerle süslenmiştir. 1995 yılında restore edildikten sonra bugünkü haline gelmiştir. Hz. İsa ve İncil’den alınan konuların tasvirlerini içeren kilisede sahneler bantlar içinde frizler halindedir. Siyah zemin üzerine sarı ve kahverengi renkler kullanılmıştır. Niş tonozlarında ve cephelerinde bitkisel ve geometrik motiflere rastlanmaktadır. Batı ve güney duvarlarında ise Kappadokia bölgesinde çok az rastlanan “Son Yargı” sahnesi yer almaktadır. Kilise apsisinde yer alan yazıta göre, 1212 yılına tarihlenmektedir.
