Akpınar mesire alanında düz kaya üstünde oturur biçimde betimlenen Kybele Kaya Kabartması bulunmaktadır. Kayaya oyulmuş bu figür 8x10 metre yüksekliğindedir. Hava koşullarının etkisiyle bazı kısımları bozulmuşsa da, her iki eli ile göğsünü kavraması, silindir biçiminde başlık giymesi günümüzde seçilebilmektedir. Kabartmanın sağ tarafında dört Hitit hiyeroglifinin izleri zorlukla görülebilmektedir. Kybele Kaya Kabartması, M.Ö. 13. yüzyılın ikinci yarısına tarihlendirilmektedir. Kybele, bütün Anadolu yarımadasında tapınılmış olan ana tanrıçadır. (Magna Mater). Ana tanrıça Kybele’nin “Sipylene” adı altında Magnesia’da bir kült oluşturduğu belirtilmektedir. Kybele, Magnesia sikkelerinde de betimlenmiştir.
