1615 yılında Kütahya’da dünyaya gelen şair ve mutasavvıf Sunullah Gaybi, halk arasında ‘ Hüda Rabbim Sultan” diye bilinir. Bir dervişzade olan Sunullah, hem zahir hem batın ilimlerini öğrenerek aile ocağında ilk eğitim ve öğrenimini görmüştür. Yine aynı zamanda babasının da şeyhi olan Halveti Şeyhi Muslihuddin Efendi’den de ders almıştır.1649 yılında İstanbul’a gelerek Oğlan Şeyh İbrahim Efendi’nin sohbet dairesinde bulunmuş ve Melamiliğe intisap etmiştir. 1655 de şeyhinin vefatı üzerine Kütahya’ya dönmüş ve kentin dışında kendine bir zaviye yapmış ve halkı irşada başlamıştır. Vefat tarihi tam olarak bilinmeyen Sunullah Gaybi , son eseri Risale-i Esmayı 1676 da yazmış olduğuna göre bu tarihten sonra vefat etmiştir ve Kütahya’da musalla kabristanında sırlanmıştır.
