Suggested visit:60 minutes

It is the largest and most important of the baths in Isparta. Two baths, a women’s bath and a men’s bath, are adjacent. Although their furnace and boilers are one, one is always reserved for women. The doors of both are separate. This bath was commissioned by Dalboyunoğlu Hacı Ahmet Ağa from Sav Village. In the copy of the endowment deed dated H. 1100 / M. 1697 drawn up in this person’s name, it is seen that Dalboyunoğlu Hacı Ahmet Ağa, one of the elders of the Janissary Corps, from Sav Village of Isparta, who had settled in Egypt and died four years earlier, had appointed the Isparta Kethüda Yusuf Ağa as proxy during his lifetime for the construction of the bath, and while it was being built with the 14.918 kuruş sent by Hacı Ahmet Ağa from Egypt, upon his death before the completion of the construction, Yusuf Ağa spent the remaining money from his own pocket, completed the missing water, boiler and dressing halls, gave 6 masuras of the water he had brought to the bath, and it was seen that 2/3 of the bath’s income was allocated to the mosque and school in Sav and to the mosque and school built by Yusuf Ağa in Karaağaç Mahallesi, with Ahmet Ağa Endowment receiving 2/3 and the remainder being the Yusuf Ağa Endowment. According to the records found in the mosque in Sav village, in the endowment deed dated H. 1124 / M. 1712 in the name of Hacı Ahmet Ağa, it was deemed appropriate to supply water from the bath’s water to the flowing fountain in Çelebiler Mahallesi and to the fountain built near Yusuf Ağa’s house. Construction of the bath began in l689 and was completed in 1693.
