Altintepe Ören Yeri
Altıntepe Ruins is located 15 km from Erzincan city center, 100 meters north of the Erzincan-Erzurum highway. It is one of the most well-preserved Urartian cities that has survived to the present day. In the scientific excavations and research carried out by TGA in 1959, a temple, palace complex, tombs, residences and numerous archaeological artifacts protected by two concentric fortress walls were uncovered.
