Altıntepe Ören Yeri Erzincan şehir merkezine 15 km uzaklıkta, Erzincan-Erzurum karayolunun 100 metre kuzeyinde yer almaktadır. Günümüze kadar ulaşabilmiş en sağlam Urartu şehirlerinden birisidir.
