Anadolu'da yetişen büyük velîlerden. İsmi Muhammed Vehbî'dir. Hayyât Vehbî diye meşhûrdur. 1780 (H.1195) senesinde doğdu. Osmanlı Müellifleri, Sefînet-ül-Evliyâ, Esmâ-ül-Müellifîn adlı eserlerde Erzurum'da, diğer bâzı eserlerde ise, Erzincan'da doğduğu yazılıdır. 1847 (H.1264) senesinde Erzincan'da vefât etti. Dergâhının olduğu yere defnedildi. Bugün burası Terzi Baba Mezârlığı diye anılmakta, mezârlığın ortasında türbesi bulunmaktadır.
