Cami, Hanzade Hançerli Fatma Sultan’ın 939 H. (1533) tarihli vakfiyesinde sayılmaktadır. Cami kuzey-güney doğrultusunda, giriş ve asıl ibadet mekanlarıyla, giriş bölümüne doğu ve batıda bitişik yan mekanlarından oluşmaktadır. İbadet mekanı kare planlı olup pandantiflerle geçilen kubbe ile örtülüdür. Güney duvarı ekseninde beş cepheli bir mihrap nişi ile, bunun iki yanında birer dikdörtgen birer niş ve batı köşede minber yer almaktadır. Doğu ve batı duvarlarında eksenin iki yanında birer pencere, kuzeyde bir mahfil yer alır. Kesme taş örgülü kübik kaideli, tuğla örgülü silindirik gövdeli ve tek şerefeli minare, kuzeybatıdadır. Şerefe altı beş sıra testere dişi ile bezelidir.
