Yavuz Özdemir Yağıbasan Medresesi Construction Date The madrasa, commissioned in 1151 and 1152, is important as one of the first examples of Anatolian madrasas with a covered courtyard. The middle of the 14 metre diameter dome covering the courtyard is open.
