Asil adi Mahmut olan Sultan Memduh 1761 senesinde,Tillo’da doğmuştur. Genç yaşta dedesi İsmail Fakirullah Hz.’nin halifesi olan İbrahim Hakkı Hz.’nin yanında sarf, nahiv, tefsir, hadis ve fıkıh gibi pek çok dini ilimleri okudu. 1847 senesinde vefat etti. Kabri İlçe’de kendi ismiyle anılan Sultan Memduh Türbesi’ndedir.
