Şeyh Muhammed Kazım, (K.S)1906'da Siirt'te doğdu. İlk öğrenimini Siirt İptidai Mektebinde yaptı. Akabinde Kur'an-ı Kerim'i ezberleyerek, hafızlığını tamamladı. I. Dünya Savaşı'ndan sonra babası Şeyh Şerafettin'den tahsiline devam etti. Siirt'in meşhur hocalarından Molla Hamit'ten Nahiv ilmini öğrendi. Şeyh Muhammed Kazım'ın 7500'den fazla gramerle ilgili Arapça beyit ezberlediğini ifade ediyor.. 1996'da vefat ederek Siirt'te defnedildi.
