Göllüdağ, located near Kömürcü Village, is a sheltered city at an altitude of 2172m. above sea level. At the conical summit of Göllüdağ, which is a volcanic mountain, there is also a crater lake. Because of this crater lake, it was also named Göllüdağ. It is a Late Hittite city dating from the 8th–7th centuries B.C., completely surrounded on the outside by walls.
