İlçe merkezinde bulunan evde, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa ‘Sivas Kongresi’ sonrasında Ankara’ya dönerken 22-23 Aralık 1919 tarihinde Hacıbektaş’a gelmiş ve söz konusu evde bir gece konaklamıştır. Atatürk Evi, 19. yüzyılda kerpiç arasına hatıl atılarak inşa edilmiş olup, kamulaştırılma işleminin ardından, 2001 yılı içinde Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından yeniden inşası sağlanarak müze olarak hizmete açılmıştır. Müzede etnografik eserler sergilenmektedir.
