Mut Doğa Koruma ve Milli Parklar Mühendisliği hizmet alanında bulunan Karaekşi Mesire Alanı, Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı tarafından Milli Park ilan edilen bir dinlenme yeridir. Saha 1965 yılında tesis edilmiş olup, 5,0 hektarlık alanda, günübirlik piknik alanıdır. Özelliği, orman içi ve dere kenarı oluşudur. Saha tamamen çınar ve kızılcam ağaçlarıyla kaplıdır. Alanı içinde alabalık üretme çiftliği de bulunan Karaekşi'de, balık üretme havuzlarında değişik yaş, boy ve ağırlıkta alabalık görmek ve saha içerisindeki kır gazinosunda taze alabalık yemek mümkündür. Alanda ayrıca, satış büfesi, tuvalet, çocuk oyun alanı, otopark ve yağmur barınağı mevcuttur. Ayrıca yeterli sayıda piknik masası ve ocak bulunmaktadır.
