Softa Kalesi'nin surları yer yer iyi korunmuş durumda olup, oval formdadır. Batı surlarının ortasında yer alan kale giriş kapısında ara mekanla savunma gücü arttırılmıştır. Dış kale ve iç kale surlarından oluşan ve çok geniş bir alana yayılmış olan Softa Kalesi'nin güney yamaçlarında yer alan yapı grupları eski bir liman kenti olan “Arsinoe” 'ye kadar uzanır. Kalenin güney yamacında örnekleri Anemurium Antik Kenti'nde gördüğümüz mimari biçimde inşa edilmiş iki katlı mezar görülür. Yapının üst örtüsü tonozla örtülü olup yıkılmıştır.
Kale girişinin sonunda bulunan ve duvarları halen ayakta olan yapı cami, bir rama ile ulaşılan mekan saray olduğu tahmin edilmektedir. Kalenin sur duvarlarına yakın inşa edilmiş küçük ölçekte Geç Roma Dönemi'ne ait hamam yer alır. Bu yapılar dışında Roma ve Bizans dönemlerinde kullanılmış olan içleri sıvalı çok sayıda sarnıç yer alır. Kale son olarak Karamanoğulları Dönemi'nde iskan edilmiştir.
