Ahi Evran (1171-1262), who came to Kayseri from Khorasan in the early 13th century, was concerned with the economic, social and cultural issues of the Anatolian Turkish people. By organizing tradesmen and craftsmen professionally and morally and bringing them together, he created a social organization. This organizational system later continued under the name of ahilik. In the museum, in addition to the leather tanning stone used by Ahi Evran, tools and equipment belonging to various professions and local items are exhibited.
