It is thought that the cemetery was first established with the Selçuklu conquest in 1064. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet ARSLAN, Head of the Ani Archaeological Site Excavations, The kümbet in the cemetery area was brought to light through excavations in 2021-2022. It has an octagonal body on a square base. There is an entrance door at the northeast corner.
