II. Abdülhamit devrinde İstanbul'un Avrupa Yakası'nda inşa edilen tren garıdır. Sirkeci Garı'nın bulunduğu yerde daha önce geçici olarak yapılan küçük bir istasyon mevcuttu. Alman mimar August Jachmund tarafından planı çizilen şimdiki gar binasının yapımında granit mermer ve Marsilya Aden'den getirilen taşlar kullanılmıştır. 11 Şubat 1888 günü temeli atılan[gar, 1890'da tamamlanmış ve binanın açılışını 3 Kasım 1890'da II. Abdülhamid adına Ahmed Muhtar Paşa yapmıştır.
