According to the inscription above the door of the mosque located in Orta Mahalle of Barla Town, it was built by Çeşnigir Sinan Paşa in 1376. Accordingly, it is understood that the mosque was built six years before Isparta and its surroundings came under Ottoman rule. On the gravestone of a person buried on the left side inside the door, the phrase Hafız Tuti’i Karamani and the date 1392 can be seen. The mosque was repaired in 1878 and its roof was made tiled.
