Senirkent’in 3 km kuzeyindeki Uluğbey kasabasındadır. Veli Baba, Miladi Ağustos 1533’de Uluğbey’de doğmuş, büyümüştür. 1630 yılında IV. Murat’ın başkumandanı Murtaza Zor Paşa, Bağdat Seferi için İç Anadolu, Ege ve Akdeniz yöresinden asker toplamaya çıktığında Isparta Uluğbey’den de geçer. O zamanlar türbenin olduğu yer üzeri açık bir mezarlık halindedir. Veli Baba Murtaza Zor Paşa ve ordusuna izzet, ikram ve kerametler gösterir. Murtaza Zor Paşa da, Veli Baba’dan duyduğu yakınlık, sevgi, hürmet ve iyilikten dolayı Isparta mütesellimine emir yazarak, üzeri açık mezarlığın türbe haline getirilmesini ve bitişiğine de bir cami yaptırılmasını ister.
