Kamışlı Church, located in Kamışlı Village in the Alucra District of Giresun, was registered by the decision of the High Council of Immovable Antiquities and Monuments dated 05.02.1982 and numbered A-3624. In the old monument record of the church, which is today called Kamışlı Village Church, it is written that it was built in 1890 by Köçös oğlu Yani and that its architect was Çolak Kosti.

The church, which has no narthex or gallery sections, has a triple apse in the form of a semicircle on its eastern façade, covered with a barrel vault. The naos is entered through a rectangular opening with a flat lintel pediment located in the middle of the western façade. The entrance opening was given the appearance of a cross with profiled moldings surrounding the jambs. A cross motif is seen in the middle of the stone lintel of the entrance, whose door leaves are not present. In front of the apse, which is 20–30 cm. above its floor, there is the ceremonial section called the bema. The naos is divided into three naves by two rows of columns. It is understood from the remains that the wall surfaces in the interior were covered with frescoes. A border row formed by the repetition of a stylized S-curve between two blue lines runs around the edges of the arches. Outside the border there are triple dots symbolizing the belief in the Trinity.
