İkiztepe (İkizler) Tumulus consists of two adjacent mounds in Pirili Village in the Alucra district. The two hills, positioned side by side 50 metres apart from each other, are located on flat land. The tumuli are about 40 metres in height and width. In past years, excavation work was carried out by the Directorate of Trabzon Museum, but since no result could be obtained over time, the excavations were left unfinished.

İkiztepe (İkizler) Tumulus consists of two adjacent mounded hills in Pirili Village, in the Alucra district. The two hills stand side by side on a flat area, 50 meters apart from each other. The tumuli are approximately 40 meters in height and width. In previous years, excavation works were carried out by the Directorate of Trabzon Museum, but since no result could be obtained over time, the excavations were left unfinished. Registered as a cultural asset by decision no. 610 on 19.01.1990, the tumulus is one of the most remarkable cultural assets in the district. These tumuli are known as “İkizler Tepesi.”
