Mecidiye Tabyası, Kilitbahir Köyü’nün 300m. güneyinde, Kilitbahir-Behramlı yolu üzerinde bulunmaktadır. Tabyanın hemen kuzeyinde Mecidiye Şehitliği ve anıtı, doğusunda yolun kenarında Seyit Onbaşı’nın heykeli bulunmaktadır. Bu tabya, II. Abdülhamit döneminde Asaf Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Tabyada 8 adet bonet, 16 top yeri vardır. Bonetler kesme taşlarla yapılmış ve üzerleri toprakla örtülmüştür. Çanakkale Savaşları’nda 4 adet 9,4 puss’luk (24cm. çapında), 2 adet 11 puss’luk (28cm. çapında toplam 6 adet top kullanılmıştır. Deniz Savaşı’nda tabyanın bombalanması sonucu 16 şehit verilmiştir. Ayrıca Seyit Onbaşı’nın görev yaptığı tabyadır.
