Kent Müzesi

It is considered that the structure, whose construction date is not known with certainty, is one of the original examples of Çanakkale’s civil architecture of the 1800s in terms of the function and architectural details of its first two floors, and that the 3rd floor was built during the Republican period (in the 1930s). According to the land registry records, the oldest owner of the building is İstefani Sayano. In 1929, with the Great Population Exchange, the building was given by the Provincial Allocation Commission to Salih Fuat Efendi, son of Bigaki Hüseyin, who came from Chania, Crete, for 800 liras.
