Kırk Göz Köprüsü
It is located on Akarçay, outside the Bolvadin district center. The bridge is divided into two parts as the northern and southern sections. The southern section was built around 1150 by the Byzantine Emperor I.Manuel Kommen, with forty arches, of marble and basalt stone. The bridge, located on the Surre-Hicaz road, was extended northward up to 64 arches by Mimar Sinan in the XVI century by order of Kanuni Sultan Süleyman and is 200 meters long. The number of arches that have survived to the present day is 57.
