Kommagene Krallığının yazlık yönetim merkezi olan Arsameia,i Kahta ilçesine bağlı Kocahisar köyü ile Damlacık köyü arasında, Kahta Çayı’nın (Nymphaios) doğusunda yer alır. Güneydeki tören yolu üzerinde bulunan çok sayıda kabartma heykel ve steller yanında Anadolu’nun bilinen en büyük Grekçe Kitabesi bulunmaktadır. Kitabenin bulunduğu yerde 150 basamakla aşağı inen kutsal amaçla kullanılan dehliz ve üst kısımda ise saray kalıntıları bulunmaktadır.
