1804 yılında Cevheri Ali Efendi tarafından yaptırıldığı yazıtından anlaşılmaktadır. Kırma çatılı son cemaat yeri olan haremin birleştiği kuzeydoğu köşesinde,çokgen minaresi olan,geniş avlu içinde kurulmuş olan yapıya kuzeydeki tek kapıdan girilir. Avlunun doğu iç duvarında iki ağaç direk üzerine oturan ufak bir revaklı kısmı vardır. Bu bölümün güneyine bir medrese yapılmış ve uzun süre bu amaçla kullanılmıştır. Caminin mahvil galerisinde ahşap oyma bitkisel ve geometrik motifler,kemerlerde ise Barok tarzda kalem işleri vardır. Kare biçimli tavan göbeği geometrik motiflerle bezelidir.
