During the Ottoman State period, its dungeon called “Çardak-ı Bedevi” was the place of captivity for many famous people, especially the Byzantine Emperor A. Diogenis. On the southwest of the castle, a rock tomb dating from very ancient times was carved. At the entrance of the tomb, there is one column and two chambers, one of which is large. In addition, it is possible to descend to the foot of the castle by a staircase with 362 steps. Today, this stairway is closed.
