Şarköy: 1354 yılında Gazi Süleyman Paşa tarafından fethedilen Şarköy, önceleri Şehirköy olarak adlandırılmıştır. Zengin doğa güzellikleri, zeytin bahçeleri ve yeşil bağlarıyla ilimizin en şirin ilçelerindendir. Üzümü ve zeytinyağı meşhurdur. İlçe, çok sayıda konaklama tesisi ve 8 adet mavi bayraklı plaja sahip bir turizm merkezidir. İlçeye bağlı Eriklice, Hoşköy, Gaziköy, Mürefte ve Uçmakdere'de de eşsiz doğa güzellikleri bulunmaktadır. Şarköy Sörf Kulübü de bu ilçede 2008 yılından bu yana faaliyet göstermektedir. Kulüp bünyesinde sörf eğitimleri verilmektedir.
