Adjacent to the dome in front of the mihrab, the inner courtyard, with a garden and pool in the middle, forms the basis of the plan. Geometric stars and interlaces made of turquoise and aubergine-purple tile mosaics, the inscription remaining on the face of the arch, and the columns again covered with zigzag-shaped tile mosaics are the mosque’s striking decorations. The inner surface of the dome has a magnificent tile decoration covered with brick. The skirts of the dome are decorated with interwoven bricks in the form of the geometric art of triangles. The mosque is in the district center and is open to visitors every day of the week.
