The museum is in İslamköy, 24 kilometers from Isparta city center. The structures built in the form of a külliye and including the museum are established on an area of 16 thousand square meters. The külliye consists of a mosque, the main museum building, a library building, lodging and storage buildings. In various halls are exhibited examples from the life and experiences of Süleyman Demirel, who also served as Prime Minister and President in Turkey’s 50-year struggle for civilization, gifts presented to him during his domestic and international trips, commemorative and gratitude plaques and photographs, cartoons from different periods by domestic humor writers, and photographs of groundbreaking and opening ceremonies of projects of great importance in Turkey’s development. The thousands of works in the library and archive sections of the museum are also made available to those who wish to conduct research.
