Uzundere ilçesi sınırlarında Tortum Çayı üzerinde 18. yüzyılda oluşmuş, Heyelan set gölüdür. Kemerlidağ yamacından kopan kalker blokları çayın önünü kapatmış, yaklaşık 50 m yüksekten düşen sular Tortum Şelalesini oluşturmuştur. Gölün denizden yüksekliği 1000 m, derinliği yaklaşık 100 m'dir. Gölün güney kısmında Türkiye'de görülen dört tür akbabanın da bulunduğu bir kuş cenneti oluşmuştur. Gölde kafes yöntemi ile kültür balıkçılığı yapılır. Göl çevre insanları tarafından mesire yeri olarak kullanılır.
