Tortum Gölü
It is a landslide-dammed lake formed in the 18th century on Tortum Stream within the borders of Uzundere district. Limestone blocks that broke off from the slope of Kemerlidağ blocked the stream, and the waters falling from a height of approximately 50 m formed Tortum Waterfall. The lake's elevation above sea level is 1000 m, and its depth is approximately 100 m. In the southern part of the lake, a bird paradise has formed where the four species of vulture seen in Türkiye are also found. Cage-method aquaculture is carried out in the lake.
