According to its inscription, the fountain, whose niches have pointed arches, was commissioned by Kethüdazade Emin Ağa in 10 June 1842. However, today it is referred to as Selim Ağa Fountain.

It stands on semi-circular small columns made of cut stone material. Inside the niche facing the front facade, there is a four-line Arabic inscription. The inscription is written in thuluth script on marble.
