Çifte hamam öreni yapılış tarihi ve yaptıranı kesin olarak bilinmemektedir. Selçuklu Dönemi yapısı olduğu savunanlar olsa da 14'üncü yüzyıl yapılan bir Osmanlı yapısı olduğu daha çok kabul görmektedir. Mimari yapısı özellikleri ile Türk yapı sanatı tarihinde seçkin bir yeri vardır. Hamam kuzey-güney doğrultusunda, birbirine paralel eksenler boyunca dizilmiş ikişerden dört kubbeli mekan ile sadece temelleri bulunan doğu-batı doğrultusundaki dikdörtgen planlı altı mekandan oluşmaktadır. Dış cepheleri sade ve bölüntüsüz olan hamam moloz taş, tuğla ve harç malzeme ile düzensiz bir şekilde inşa edilmiştir. Yalnızca batı cephede düzgün tuğla dizileri görülür. Örtü sistemi ve mukarnaslar tuğladır. Günümüzde hamamın üstü çelik çatı ile kapatılarak dış etkenlerden korunması sağlanmıştır.
