Ferhatli Kalesi

This castle is located in Ferhatlı (Ahıza) Village, 5. kilometre west of Ardanuç, and it is said to be the setting of the legend of Ferhat and Şirin. The structure, which has no inscription, was repaired in the V. century by the Iberian King Vahtang Gorgasal at the same time as Ardanuç Castle, ensuring its survival to the present day.
