The museum, created through the restoration and arrangement in 2013 of Bekir Ağalar Mansion, which belonged to one of the wealthy families of the time, was opened as an exhibition hall in 2015, and in 2017 it was registered by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the title of city museum.

Çubuk City Museum; was established in one of the few historical buildings in Ankara's Çubuk district. The museum, created through the restoration and arrangement of Bekir Ağalar Konağı, which belonged to one of the wealthy families of the time, in 2013; was opened as an exhibition hall in 2015, and in 2017 it was registered by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the title of city museum. Bekir Ağalar Konağı also carries a distinct importance and value as the place where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed during his visit to the district in 1933. In the museum, historical items collected partly through purchase and partly through donation are exhibited, along with models depicting the 1402 Battle of Ankara and life in the 1900s.
