Mehmet Nurettin Karaoğuz tarafından Ankara İl Özel İdaresine bağışlanan bina 1977 yılında Beypazarı Tarih ve Kültür Müzesi olarak açılmıştır. Klasik Osmanlı Mimari özelliklerini taşıyan müze binası 1850 yılı yapımıdır ve 3 katlıdır. Giriş katı taş duvar olup, ahır ve avlu bölmesi olarak kullanılmıştır. Üst katlar ise ahşaptan yapılmış olup, duvarların iç ve dış sıvaları yöresel tatlı kireç ile kaplıdır. Bütün odalarda yüklük, banyo ve sedirlerin bulunması konağın temel özellikleri arasındadır.
Konakta yatak odaları, misafir odaları, çocuk odası, namaz odası, gelin odası ve her katta mutfak ve abdesthane bulunmaktadır. Etnografik bir müze olup, Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet Dönemlerine ait Beypazarı ve yöresinin kültürünü yansıtan eşya ve eserler mevcuttur. Beypazarı ilçesinde geçmiş dönemlerde yedi gün olan düğün adet, gelenek ve görenekleri yöresel kıyafetlerle odalarda sergilenmektedir. Müze bahçesinde Roma ve Bizans Dönemlerine ait arkeolojik eserler bulunmaktadır. Müzedeki tüm eserler Beypazarı halkı tarafından bağışlanmıştır.
