Located in Yaprakhisar Village on the border of Ihlara Valley, Ziga Kaplıcaları has been declared a special environmental protection area, and the region has become a thermal tourism area together with the natural wonder valley. At Ziga Kaplıcaları, which has a panoramic view of Ihlara Valley, the temperature of the thermal water is 47 degrees. Very rich in minerals, Ziga Kaplıcaları can be used in bath applications as an auxiliary, complementary treatment in the chronic periods of rheumatic diseases, as an auxiliary, complementary treatment method in the treatment of itchy and eruptive diseases when used together with heliotherapy/UV, and in the rehabilitation of orthopedic and neurological disorders. It is also good for metabolic disorders, eye disorders and women's diseases.
While the Ziga travertines and Ziga hot waters are formed by the combination of many minerals, they leave sediment because they contain abundant calcium, sodium chloride and bicarbonate ions. Since the cations and anions in the water are suitable for travertine formation, the region was planned as a travertine area and a project related to travertines was carried out. By creating a large yellow-colored travertine area in the Ziga region, calcium, sodium and sulfurous water sediments have created a magnificent view and added a distinct visuality to the Ziga Thermal Basin.
