Yapımına Ramazanoğlu Halil Bey tarafından 1509’da başlandı; Piri Mehmet Paşa tarafından 1541 yılında tamamlandı. Ramazanoğlu Halil Bey ve Piri Mehmet Paşa ile Mehmet Paşa’nın iki oğlu caminin güneydoğusundaki tarihli türbede yatmaktadır.Caminin mimarisi Selçuklu ve Memluk üsluplarını taşır.
