Yozgat şehir merkezindeki bu heybetli ve asırlık kule zemin kat ve çanların bulunduğu kısımlarla birlikte yedi kattır. Sarı köfedeki kesme taşlarla inşa edilmiştir. Çanların bulunduğu kattan itibaren üstteki ilk kattaki her cepheye ayrı yerleştirilmiş 4 saat bulunmaktadır. Her saat başında çalan çanlar şehrin her tarafından duyulacak şekildedir.
