Yozgat - Kadışehri yolu üzerinde Kesikköprü Örencik köylerinin kesiştiği noktada bulunan Çekereksu Hanı Valide Sultan Melike Mahperi Hatun tarafından 1239-1240 yıllarında yaptırılmıştır. Çekereksu Hanı kuzey güney doğrultusunda uzunlamasına devam eden moloz taş ve kireç harcından yığma olarak yapılmıştır. Kalıntısının üst örtü sistemi beşik tonozludur. Yapı, iki ana birimden oluşmaktadır. Kuzey kısmı daha geniş olup kuzey güney yanlarda ise doğu-batı doğrultusunda taşlarla örtülü mekânlardan oluşmaktadır. Güney kanadında kuzey güney doğrultusunda uzunlamasına tonozlarla örtülmüş üç mekân bulunmaktadır.
