XVII-XVIII. yüzyıllarda yapılmış olabileceği tahmin edilmektedir. Ahlat taşından düzgün kesme taş malzemeyle inşa edilmiş köprü, tek gözlü ve yolu eğimlidir. Oldukça dik tutulmuş yolu saltaşları ile kaplanmıştır. Köprü gözü sivri kemerli olarak tertib edilmiştir. 1998’de Karayolları Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından onarılmış olup, vadideki patika yolları birbirine bağlamaktadır. Günümüzde sağlam ve kullanılabilir bir köprüdür. Çatak yakınlarındaki Zeril Suyu üzerinde kurulmuş olan köprünün kesin tarihi belli değildir.
