Karşısına insan kılığına girmiş Şeytan çıkar ve Hz. Eyyub'un daha çok uzaklarda olduğunu söyler. Yaşlı ve yorgun olan, artık yürüyecek mecali kalmayan Elyesa' Peygamber umutsuzluğa düşer ve Allah'a dua ederek ruhunu almasını diler. Bunun üzerine hemen orada vefat eder ve köy içerisine gömülür. Eyyup Peygamber türbesinin 500 m. güneybatısında yer alan ve oldukça harap bir durumda olan Elyesa' Peygamber türbesi, Şanlıurfa Valiliği'nce yeniden yaptırılmıştır.
