Devrinin en büyük Kadiri Şeyhi, Şeyh Dede Osman Avni (K.S) Hazretleri İslam Peygamberi Hz. Muhammed (s.a.s)’in soyundandır. Türbenin üzerindeki kitabede şunlar yazılıdır: “Burası bütün evliyanın sultanı Ğavsül-a’zam hazreti Abdulkadir Geylani hazretlerinin pak dergâhlarıdır”. Şeyh Efendi, sürekli Mevlidi Halil Camii’nde oturmuş ve orada hizmetini yapmıştır. Bu şekilde 70 sene şeyhlik yapmış ve 1883 senesinde vefat etmiştir. Kendisinden sonra tarikatın hizmetini yapan Hafız Halil Efendi’nin yazdığına göre Şeyh Efendi, 100 yıl kadar yaşamıştır. Dede Osman’ın tespihi, cübbesi ve bazı eşyaları hala caminin ziyaret girişinde sergilenmektedir.
