It was declared a Tourism Center by a Council of Ministers Decision in 1991. It is located 17 kilometers from Aybastı District. Its altitude is around 1,500 meters. Plateau festivals are held every year in July. Various competitions, folklore shows, concerts, social and cultural activities, wrestling matches, horse races, etc. are organized during the festivals. Most of the road to the plateau is asphalt, and the rest is a stabilized road. It is ideal for relaxing, having a picnic, safari, and paragliding. At the same time, there are natural wonders of unique beauty, historical monuments and sites on the plateau. Kümbetler, Çiseli Waterfall, and Karga Tepesi are examples of these.
